around a distinct formula and specialised skill set to age whiskeys.
As whiskey bonders, we embrace mastery over all variables: distillate,
casks, maturation, and marrying. Our role as bonders is to craft

1. DISTILLATE
A network built over 170 years gives the Egan’s Master Bonder access to some of the best whiskeys from the four corners of Ireland.
Seeing the potential of a young distillate is central to the art & science of whiskey bonding. Every distillate is meticulously handpicked, each chosen with a predetermined destiny in mind.
We believe that selecting the best distillate is key to achieving success with the final product, no matter what happens afterwards. Our master bonder will select distillate with that final product in mind.
2. CASKS
The Egan’s Master Bonder has developed a deep understanding of the impact of wood on distillate and hand selects each casks for each whiskey for the perfect end result.
Our casks are used for both maturing & finishing, and we use only the best suppliers to guarantee quality that will do our distillate justice. Bolstered by a heritage spanning generations, our extensive network helps source casks that surpass even the loftiest standards.
3. AGING
Leaving ‘father time’ to work his magic and the angels to take their share.
Through intuition and experience, our Master Bonder knows exactly how much time the distillate needs in each chosen cask to produce the perfect result.
4. MARRYING
The final step in the art of bonding is where the lines of art and science come together.
Marrying is all about achieving balance. It is the symmetry between distillate, cask and time in the exact proportions.
The master bonder must understand each of these variables and how to bring them together in order to produce something exceptional.
